Bob Floyd stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Spike Jewson's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Bob Floyd didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Spike Jewson went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teddy Watkins in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bob Floyd saved Warwick FC from getting behind. Bob Floyd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Spike Jewson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Spike Jewson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, Teddy Watkins notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Warwick FC's Bob Floyd. Bob Floyd was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alistair Vine's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Basil Deeney skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Crowthorne booed when Warwick FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Graeme Banks didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teddy Watkins took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bob Floyd. Bob Floyd dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Alistair Vine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basil Deeney having to interfere. Johnnie Blake kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Alistair Vine might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Basil Deeney. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alistair Vine ran back to his position shaking his head. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zaq Bull was the one to do the kick off. If Alistair Vine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alistair Vine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teddy Watkins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Bob Floyd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd match minute, Warwick FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sid West to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the match, Warwick FC's goal looked a bit too open when Spike Jewson came free, but Bob Floyd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Crowthorne's goal looked a bit too open when Alistair Vine came free, but Basil Deeney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Spike Jewson in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bob Floyd prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Warwick FC's Graeme Banks got a free kick in the 90th minute. When Crowthorne's Spike Jewson in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Warwick FC's goalie prevented a goal. Spike Jewson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bob Floyd came out and tried to block the shot, but Spike Jewson slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 97th minute. The Crowthorne supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Crowthorne would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
