The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Spike Jewson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gareth Hough fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basil Deeney having to interfere. But to his dismay, Spike Jewson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 89th minute, Teddy Watkins ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Travis Palmer was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 94 minutes into the match, Crowthorne's Simon Kear sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Travis Palmer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gareth Hough was extremely unlucky when he, in the 95th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The supporters of Ironville City booed when Crowthorne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Kear didn't get a good kick on the ball. Crowthorne's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
