Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gareth Hough kicked off to start the match. Darius Logan kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Ironville City's goal looked a bit too open when Callum Forbes came free, but Travis Palmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Darius Logan was shown his second yellow card after 16 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 16 played minutes Ironville City got a freekick which was hit by Darius Logan. In the 26th minute Ferndown FC were awarded a corner. Charles Broad went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Ferndown FC's Jacob Bryden got a free kick in the 27th minute. Callum Forbes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Travis Palmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ferndown FC's Callum Forbes in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 46thth minute of the game Graeme Nailor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ironville City's Travis Palmer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Graeme Nailor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Travis Palmer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Callum Forbes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Travis Palmer when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Travis Palmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Callum Forbes in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Pat Fayle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ralf Gardener's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jay Morning read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. If Ralf Gardener had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute Callum Forbes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Travis Palmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferndown FC played a much better game than Ironville City and deserved their victory. The Ironville City players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
