Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The audience was convinced that Spike Jewson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tod Carey was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. If Teddy Watkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 6 played minutes Crowthorne got a freekick which was hit by Alastair West. In the 9th minute, Alastair West fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 13 minutes, Teddy Watkins made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Stockton-on-Tees's Tod Carey tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alastair West charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alastair West the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th match minute, Crowthorne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alastair West to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niall Green in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Basil Deeney saved Crowthorne from getting behind. Niall Green might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Basil Deeney. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niall Green ran back to his position shaking his head. 20 minutes into the game, Crowthorne's Teddy Watkins nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tod Carey made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The supporters of Stockton-on-Tees booed when Crowthorne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alastair West didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Niall Green managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stockton-on-Tees's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niall Green was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd match minute, Stockton-on-Tees was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fraser Robins to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Crowthorne's Christian Goodwick tried to score from far away in the 37th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Jermaine Young's late challenge caught a Crowthorne's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jermaine Young helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th minute, Jermaine Young hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, Crowthorne's Spike Jewson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tod Carey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tod Carey didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 43rd minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Spike Jewson made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Stockton-on-Tees's goalkeeper Tod Carey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Christian Goodwick was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 54th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Tod Carey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Spike Jewson in the 56th minute of the match. Tod Carey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teddy Watkins's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. When Crowthorne's Spike Jewson in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stockton-on-Tees's goalie prevented a goal. When Teddy Watkins came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Crowthorne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teddy Watkins couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd minute, Spike Jewson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tod Carey was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Spike Jewson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niall Green struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Basil Deeney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stockton-on-Tees. 74 minutes into the match, Spike Jewson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tod Carey. Stockton-on-Tees's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Spike Jewson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Teddy Watkins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Tod Carey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a left leg Tod Carey saved Stockton-on-Tees from getting behind. 94 minutes into the match, Stockton-on-Tees's goal looked a bit too open when Spike Jewson came free, but Tod Carey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gav Revell fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stockton-on-Tees's protests and gave Gav Revell a yellow card for diving instead. 97 minutes into the match, Stockton-on-Tees's goal looked a bit too open when Teddy Watkins came free, but Tod Carey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Crowthorne's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
