Stockton-on-Tees's Tod Carey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralf Gardener in the 14th minute of play. Tod Carey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gareth Hough, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 21st match minute, Stockton-on-Tees was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gav Revell to maneuver through the defense. Tod Carey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gareth Hough, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gareth Hough recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ralf Gardener was extremely unlucky when he, in the 71st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Matthew Boston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Travis Palmer having to interfere. A collision led to Stockton-on-Tees getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Fraser Robins hit a great ball. Ironville City's Travis Palmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niall Green in the 92nd minute of play. Niall Green sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Ironville City players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Stockton-on-Tees from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
