Damien Nightingale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vernon Longstaffe having to interfere. Vernon Longstaffe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damien Nightingale, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. If Alfred Jenas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dominic Lineker hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Lance Clifford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seth Cowling having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damien Nightingale to make the kick off. The Poland Band FC fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Poland Band FC's Alfred Jenas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The referee showed Ben Botham the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 75th minute, one of Stonehouse:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Stonehouse. In the 77th minute there was a penalty for Poland Band FC. Seth Ridgeway stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vernon Longstaffe. 3-0. When Damien Nightingale, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 81 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Vernon Longstaffe was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Lance Clifford managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stonehouse's supporters rose to their feet, but Lance Clifford was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Seth Cowling breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lance Clifford struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Seth Cowling didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stonehouse. In the 88thth minute of the game Lance Clifford who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Poland Band FC's Seth Cowling was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alfred Jenas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lance Clifford's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Seth Cowling read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Alfred Jenas took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vernon Longstaffe. Vernon Longstaffe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Stonehouse players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Poland Band FC.
