Polonia Leszno's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poland Band FC the free kick. When Carl May came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Polonia Leszno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carl May couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Polonia Leszno's Blair Noble got control of the ball when Alfred Jenas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Damien Nightingale succeeded in the game's 66th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
