Spectators: 7580 (Terracing: 5725, Seating: 1755, VIP seats: 100) 6 minutes into the match, Poland Band FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chip Aiston came free, but Seth Cowling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casey Tolley took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Seth Cowling. Seth Cowling dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damien Nightingale in the 15th minute of play forced Hobbiton Athletic's goalkeeper Johnny Gray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casey Tolley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Seth Cowling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hobbiton Athletic's Casey Tolley got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Seth Cowling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casey Tolley in the 25th minute of play. Seth Cowling stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chip Aiston's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. With a little luck, Hobbiton Athletic's Johnny Gray got control of the ball when Alfred Jenas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Johnny Gray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damien Nightingale in the 34th minute of play. After having played for 35 minutes, Alfred Jenas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poland Band FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfred Jenas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Alfred Jenas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Alfred Jenas came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Poland Band FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfred Jenas couldn't finish the play. After 49 minutes Hobbiton Athletic's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Seth Ridgeway who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Poland Band FC's corner Seth Ridgeway fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Johnny Gray quite easily take care of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chip Aiston to strike the kick off in the second half. Chip Aiston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Seth Cowling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chip Aiston might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Seth Cowling. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chip Aiston ran back to his position shaking his head. After 73 minutes of play, Hobbiton Athletic's Casey Tolley made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Seth Cowling was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alfred Jenas scored 1-2 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Johnny Gray, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Johnny Neville's late challenge caught a Poland Band FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Johnny Neville helped the player get up and apologised. Johnny Neville kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Poland Band FC's Seth Ridgeway tried to score from far away in the 86th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 88thth minute of the game Damien Nightingale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hobbiton Athletic's Johnny Gray was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Perry Leadbeater charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Perry Leadbeater the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Damien Nightingale blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Johnny Gray having to make a save. Poland Band FC's Seth Cowling proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Poland Band FC from getting a goal against them. After 96 minutes of play, Poland Band FC's Alfred Jenas made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Johnny Gray was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Hobbiton Athletic players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Poland Band FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
