Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sean Gaskell got the match started through his kick off. 10 minutes into the match, Denholme City's goal looked a bit too open when Ralf North came free, but Niall Darby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Denholme City's goal looked a bit too open when Conan Fairfax came free, but Niall Darby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niall Darby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralf North, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conan Fairfax in the 20th minute of play forced Denholme City's goalkeeper Niall Darby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sean Gaskell's late challenge caught a English Invaders FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sean Gaskell helped the player get up and apologised. Sean Gaskell kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, English Invaders FC's Ralf North nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Niall Darby made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Niall Darby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conan Fairfax in the 29th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ralf North in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niall Darby saved Denholme City from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Denholme City's Sean Gaskell got a free kick in the 34th minute. Sean Gaskell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Archie Bartlett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to English Invaders FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Marek Gillow hit a great ball. After 43 minutes, Rueben Featherson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Denholme City and the English Invaders FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Ralf North had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denholme City's Niall Darby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conan Fairfax in the 46th minute of play.

After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Ralf North managed to get in a good position for a shot. English Invaders FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ralf North was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niall Darby breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sean Gaskell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Archie Bartlett having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ralf North in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niall Darby saved Denholme City from getting behind. Conan Fairfax received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Niall Darby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Dale Peat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niall Darby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralf North in the 73rd minute of the match. The supporters of English Invaders FC booed when Denholme City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sean Gaskell didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Conan Fairfax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 played minutes Denholme City got a freekick which was hit by Dale Peat. In the 87th minute English Invaders FC were awarded a corner. Franz Miles went to the cornerflag to take it. When Sean Gaskell, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 89 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Archie Bartlett was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Brynn Croxford recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched English Invaders FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
