Evolution's Jeffrey Colley got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Jeffrey Colley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, English Invaders FC's Marek Gillow got a free kick in the 17th minute. Evolution's Jeffrey Colley got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeffrey Colley who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Archie Bartlett when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rowan Sharpe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Archie Bartlett having to interfere. When Jeffrey Colley came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Evolution fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeffrey Colley couldn't finish the play. A collision led to English Invaders FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Franz Miles hit a great ball. After 29 played minutes, English Invaders FC's Donald Godfrey shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Grant Rooney came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in English Invaders FC reached it. Ralf North fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grant Rooney having to interfere. Jeffrey Colley in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Archie Bartlett, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ralf North to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Vernon Drysdale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Archie Bartlett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marek Gillow charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marek Gillow the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, English Invaders FC's Marek Gillow got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 60thth minute of the game Jeffrey Colley who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but English Invaders FC's Archie Bartlett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. During the 61st minute of the match Marek Gillow completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Marek Gillow a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Evolution booed when English Invaders FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marek Gillow didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rdth minute of the game Jeffrey Colley who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but English Invaders FC's Archie Bartlett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeffrey Colley in the 67th minute of play forced English Invaders FC's goalkeeper Archie Bartlett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rowan Sharpe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Rowan Sharpe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Evolution's supporters rose to their feet, but Rowan Sharpe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Archie Bartlett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Travis Braithwaite charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Travis Braithwaite the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Evolution's Jeffrey Colley in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye English Invaders FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chesney Stonehouse in the 79th minute of play forced English Invaders FC's goalkeeper Archie Bartlett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grant Rooney made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Conan Fairfax sent off a good shot on target. Archie Bartlett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeffrey Colley in the 85th minute of the match. Chesney Stonehouse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Conan Fairfax fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grant Rooney having to interfere. After 96 played minutes English Invaders FC got a freekick which was hit by Mark Nash. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Evolution fully deserved thier win.
