Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute of the match Stretford AFC got a corner. shirebrook united's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rupert England ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rupert England made a great header on Stretford AFC's corner, it was just that shirebrook united's Carl Dowrick managed to reach the ball for a save. Carl Dowrick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keanu Postolan, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for shirebrook united! Larry Teague succeeded in the game's 13th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Larry Teague received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Carl Dowrick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stretford AFC's Brendon Lowndes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Stretford AFC from getting a goal against them. Jonny Sheehan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jerome Afful was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 36th minute. shirebrook united's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Larry Teague sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ash Burbeary recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute, Harry Whittaker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Larry Teague in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carl Dowrick saved shirebrook united from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerome Afful in the 46th minute of play forced Stretford AFC's goalkeeper Brendon Lowndes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute, shirebrook united's Jerome Afful ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Brendon Lowndes. Brendon Lowndes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. After the first half Stretford AFC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Keanu Postolan made a kick off. Larry Teague received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Carl Dowrick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Larry Teague sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Keanu Postolan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to shirebrook united getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Byron Hutchins hit a great ball. Keanu Postolan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Keanu Postolan in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carl Dowrick saved shirebrook united from getting behind. Keanu Postolan had several of the shirebrook united's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 83 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Carl Dowrick as he didn't even see the shot coming. Jonny Sheehan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Brendon Lowndes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Zaq Wright hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
