Austen Jordan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. liverpool22's Austen Jordan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kelvin Fleming in the 10th minute of play. liverpool22's Glenn Clifford got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rio Fearns recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes into the match, liverpool22's goal looked a bit too open when CJ Pollard came free, but Austen Jordan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ralph Corbett fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored liverpool22's protests and gave Ralph Corbett a yellow card for diving instead. Ralph Corbett hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Austen Jordan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from CJ Pollard in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Easingwold FC's Joseph Elliot dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by CJ Pollard in the 23rd minute of play forced liverpool22's goalkeeper Austen Jordan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Glenn Clifford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Easingwold FC defense, Glenn Clifford kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dennis Preston. The Easingwold FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dennis Preston should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joseph Elliot got free with Austen Jordan in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eddie Foster sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by liverpool22's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gavin Kerfoot was slow to take the kick. During this time Easingwold FC's players had a chance to rest. Gavin Kerfoot made a great header on Easingwold FC's corner, it was just that liverpool22's Austen Jordan managed to reach the ball for a save. After 40 minutes of play liverpool22's Ralph Corbett was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Gavin Kerfoot took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Austen Jordan. liverpool22's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Austen Jordan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell CJ Pollard to make the kick off. Rio Fearns sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rio Fearns could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Dennis Preston made a huge save. In the 55th minute, Neil Carragher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, liverpool22's Glenn Clifford got a free kick in the 56th minute. 67 minutes into the game, liverpool22's Rio Fearns nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dennis Preston made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Eddie Foster's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Dennis Preston skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Easingwold FC's Joseph Elliot in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye liverpool22's goalie prevented a goal. Eddie Foster took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dennis Preston. Dennis Preston dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. 85 minutes into the match, Eddie Foster had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dennis Preston. Easingwold FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eddie Foster was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. Eddie Foster received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Dennis Preston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trevor Cohens lost his temper 92 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 92nd minute, one of liverpool22:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for liverpool22. In the 95th minute there was a penalty for Easingwold FC. Gavin Kerfoot stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Austen Jordan. 3-5. When the match was over liverpool22 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Easingwold FC throughout the match.
