Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jerome Afful kicked off to start the match. Staines City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonny Sheehan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The shirebrook united fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when shirebrook united's Jonny Sheehan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
