Spectators: 6718 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 0) Bishops Castle City's Tristram Coyle started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nial Rusby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tristram Coyle in the 4th minute of play. Tristram Coyle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nial Rusby having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in RSC Arden's zone, Antony Baker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nial Rusby came out of the goal and Antony Baker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jeremy Tyler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antony Baker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nial Rusby having to interfere. Nial Rusby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tristram Coyle in the 20th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Aaron Watson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RSC Arden's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bishops Castle City the free kick. After a rather tough play, RSC Arden's Aaron Watson got a free kick in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, RSC Arden's goal looked a bit too open when Tristram Coyle came free, but Nial Rusby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to RSC Arden getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Duncan Croxford hit a great ball. In the 24thth minute of the game Tristram Coyle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RSC Arden's Nial Rusby was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th minute Jeremy Tyler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jools Briant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Bishops Castle City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alastair Tompkins to maneuver through the defense. After 31 played minutes RSC Arden got a freekick which was hit by Barney Crosby. A nice corner shot did that Phil Carlick got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nial Rusby quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tristram Coyle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tristram Coyle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Nial Rusby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tristram Coyle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeremy Tyler was the one to do the kick off. Tristan Carlick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Jools Briant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, RSC Arden's Duncan Croxford got a free kick in the 64th minute. Nial Rusby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tristram Coyle in the 69th minute of the match. Dave Dumpleton charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dave Dumpleton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of RSC Arden booed when Bishops Castle City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dave Dumpleton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jools Briant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeremy Tyler's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. During the 77th minute of the match Dave Dumpleton completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dave Dumpleton a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Dave Dumpleton hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Bishops Castle City's Jools Briant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremy Tyler in the 79th minute of play. Nial Rusby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antony Baker in the 80th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, RSC Arden's goal looked a bit too open when Antony Baker came free, but Nial Rusby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Bishops Castle City booed when RSC Arden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sid Locke didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. RSC Arden walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
