Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jerome Afful started the match with the kick off. Joseph Elliot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joey Sands hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the game, Kelvin Fleming cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Carl Dowrick was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dennis Preston came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by shirebrook united's Tod Bartlett. But to his dismay, Tod Bartlett quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Jonny Sheehan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Preston having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, shirebrook united's Jonny Sheehan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dennis Preston narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by CJ Pollard in the 32nd minute of play forced shirebrook united's goalkeeper Carl Dowrick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dennis Preston came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by shirebrook united's Jerome Afful. But to his dismay, Jerome Afful quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 37thth minute of the game Jerome Afful who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Easingwold FC's Dennis Preston was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of shirebrook united:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Easingwold FC:s goal. The audience was convinced that Jonny Sheehan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dennis Preston was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Jonny Sheehan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Dennis Preston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Carl Dowrick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from CJ Pollard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CJ Pollard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Dowrick having to interfere. Carl Dowrick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Elliot, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Jonny Sheehan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Dennis Preston skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Easingwold FC's goalie and right to Jake Talbot. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Easingwold FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 70 minutes into the match, Joseph Elliot notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of shirebrook united's Carl Dowrick. Carl Dowrick was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in shirebrook united's zone, Joseph Elliot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carl Dowrick came out of the goal and Joseph Elliot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. shirebrook united's Zaq Wright got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Jerome Afful managed to get in a good position for a shot. shirebrook united's supporters rose to their feet, but Jerome Afful was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis Preston breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Easingwold FC's Dennis Preston played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerome Afful in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th match minute, shirebrook united was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Whittaker to maneuver through the defense. After 87 played minutes shirebrook united got a freekick which was hit by Harry Whittaker. 93 minutes into the game, CJ Pollard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Carl Dowrick was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
