Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Zackary Bray made the kick off which started today's match. Thomas Barfield fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lloyd Horsell having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Fairfield's zone, Thomas Barfield stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lloyd Horsell came out of the goal and Thomas Barfield tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thomas Barfield received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lloyd Horsell came out and tried to block the shot, but Thomas Barfield slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 10th minute. In the 14th minute Paul Bevan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tyrone May saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Thomas Barfield got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tyrone May took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zackary Bray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 minutes, Johnny Mudd mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aldeburgh and the Fairfield players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Aldeburgh! In the 31st minute there was a penalty for Fairfield. Carlton Brimble stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tyrone May. 2-1. When Aldeburgh's Thomas Barfield in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fairfield's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Fairfield's David Drury got a free kick in the 36th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Lloyd Horsell successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Henry Banim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Lloyd Horsell made a huge save. After 42 played minutes Fairfield got a freekick which was hit by Keith Moxon. After recieving a nice pass, Aldeburgh's Johnny Mudd tried to score from far away in the 43rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Paul Bevan struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Tyrone May didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fairfield. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thomas Barfield stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ty Cain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Thomas Barfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 55 minutes, Dan Strickland mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fairfield and the Aldeburgh players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th match minute, Fairfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Strickland to maneuver through the defense. After 57 played minutes, Aldeburgh's Ashley Robins shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lloyd Horsell came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Aldeburgh reached it. Lloyd Horsell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Banim in the 58th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Henry Banim notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Fairfield's Lloyd Horsell. Lloyd Horsell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 62nd minute, Henry Banim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lloyd Horsell was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Zackary Bray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tyrone May having to interfere. Lloyd Horsell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Barfield in the 71st minute of play. In the 82nd minute Henry Banim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lloyd Horsell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fairfield's goalkeeper Lloyd Horsell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Fairfield's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Barfield came free, but Lloyd Horsell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henry Banim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lloyd Horsell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Aldeburgh's Tyrone May proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Aldeburgh from getting a goal against them. 92 minutes into the match, Fairfield's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Banim came free, but Lloyd Horsell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
