The attack was good, but when Reggie Denham in the 20th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 21 minutes into the game, Jeffrey Clist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Brett Darling was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Conisbrough's Brett Darling got control of the ball when Jeffrey Clist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Spike Hall kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 37 minutes in the game, Reggie Denham fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Brett Darling having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Denny Cox was the one to do the kick off. When Kidderminster's Reggie Denham in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The crowd rose to their feet as Denny Cox kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rueben Pye-Finch. That made the score 3-1 in the 61 minute of play. A collision led to Conisbrough getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Kris Locke hit a great ball. Brett Darling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeffrey Clist in the 68th minute of play. In the 77th minute Jeffrey Clist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brett Darling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Kidderminster booed when Conisbrough was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andre Pettifer didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the game, Reggie Denham cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Brett Darling was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Kidderminster getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Jeffrey Clist hit a great ball. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kidderminster fans cheered their team off the field, for while Conisbrough had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
