When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Denny Cox made a kick off. Torpoint City's Graeme Froggatt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denny Cox in the 55th minute of play. Brett Darling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camron Blake in the 62nd minute of play. Conisbrough's Joey Broadhurst got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Conisbrough's Brett Darling got control of the ball when Theo Rundle tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 72nd minute of the match, Jeff Swanson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Brett Darling saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Brett Darling, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Brett Darling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeff Swanson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Spike Hall was shown his second yellow card after 81 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 84th minute, Joey Broadhurst got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Theo Rundles short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Brett Darling to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 91 minutes into the game, Jeff Swanson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Brett Darling. Jeff Swanson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Brett Darling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeff Swanson, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joey Broadhurst in the 98th minute of play forced Torpoint City's goalkeeper Graeme Froggatt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Torpoint City walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
