Ethan Stonehouse showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Jeffrey Clist came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Kidderminster fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeffrey Clist couldn't finish the play. Jeffrey Clist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Graeme Froggatt made a huge save. Theo Rundle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Rueben Pye-Finch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Torpoint City's goalkeeper Graeme Froggatt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 52 minutes, Brendon Rowe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kidderminster's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brendon Rowe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 53 minutes, Camron Blake mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Torpoint City and the Kidderminster players grew even worse after the yellow card.
