Spectators: 5751 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 25) Denny Cox started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 4 played minutes Conisbrough got a freekick which was hit by Spike Hall. After some careless play in the Conisbrough defense, Harvey Wise kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brett Darling. The Conisbrough fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brett Darling should have stopped the shot. In the 8th minute, Harvey Wise hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute Denny Cox shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Coulshaw saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to manchester united getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Simon Kempson hit a great ball. Andre Pettifer, 12 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The supporters of Conisbrough booed when manchester united was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl Strong didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute, Conisbrough's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Harvey Wise fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Harvey Wise recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute, Dave Adams got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kevin Coulshaw took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denny Cox, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the game, Harvey Wise cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Brett Darling was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Harvey Wise could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Brett Darling made a huge save. Dave Adams was extremely unlucky when he, in the 39th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 42 minutes into the match, Conisbrough's goal looked a bit too open when Dave Adams came free, but Brett Darling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kevin Coulshaw made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denny Cox in the 43rd minute of play. Kevin Coulshaw took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joey Broadhurst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quentin Layfield kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Denny Cox's late challenge caught a manchester united's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Denny Cox helped the player get up and apologised. Denny Cox hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dave Adams stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Denny Cox's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kevin Coulshaw read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Conisbrough's goal looked a bit too open when Harvey Wise came free, but Brett Darling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Kris Locke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harvey Wise received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Brett Darling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Dave Adams's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brett Darling was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Stew Hitchen hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Brett Darling came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by manchester united's Harvey Wise. But to his dismay, Harvey Wise quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Harvey Wise managed to get in a good position for a shot. manchester united's supporters rose to their feet, but Harvey Wise was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brett Darling breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. manchester united's Dave Adams got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Spike Hall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dave Adams received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Brett Darling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Harvey Wise left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The manchester united fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 5-0 became the score in the 99th minute when Dave Adams elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the manchester united players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
