After 12 minutes Kidderminster's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wes Cordingley who took care of the corner kick. Louie Maclean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Kidderminster getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Albert Jewson hit a great ball. Karl Greenman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeffrey Clist in the 24th minute of play forced Watford's goalkeeper Fraser Haugue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fraser Haugue made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reggie Denham in the 26th minute of play. Fraser Haugue showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeffrey Clist, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Rupert Hornsby charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rupert Hornsby the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th match minute, Watford was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rupert Hornsby to maneuver through the defense. After 34 played minutes Watford got a freekick which was hit by Rupert Hornsby. Fraser Haugue took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeffrey Clist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeffrey Clist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeffrey Clist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Reggie Denham to strike the kick off in the second half. Fraser Haugue made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeffrey Clist in the 52nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Reggie Denham kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fraser Haugue. That made the score 0-2 in the 56 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Louie Maclean in the 62nd minute of play forced Kidderminster's goalkeeper Rueben Pye-Finch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 64 minutes, Reggie Denham managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kidderminster's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reggie Denham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 65 minutes into the game, Mickey Foley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Watford's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kidderminster the free kick. Jeffrey Clist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Fraser Haugue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Reggie Denham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Billy Turk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 80 minutes of play, Kidderminster's Reggie Denham made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fraser Haugue was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fraser Haugue showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reggie Denham, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Jeffrey Clist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Fraser Haugue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reggie Denham blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fraser Haugue having to make a save. Fraser Haugue didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reggie Denham went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Kidderminster's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
