The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gez Harrison struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Marek Stansfield didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Never Exposed. Marek Stansfield made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camron Bow in the 8th minute of play. Marek Stansfield showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camron Bow in the 14th minute of the match. Dean Longstaffe hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Woking FC defense, Gez Harrison kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marek Stansfield. The Woking FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marek Stansfield should have stopped the shot. 28 minutes into the match, Camron Bow had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marek Stansfield. Woking FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Camron Bow was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Woking FC's Ian McCormick came free and shot a quick shot against goal 31 minutes in the game, fortunately Jools Dothery had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Rick Ashton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Jools Dothery tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Camron Bow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Never Exposed's Jools Dothery got control of the ball when Ian McCormick tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Daniel Davey had several of the Woking FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 52 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Marek Stansfield as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gez Harrison got free with Marek Stansfield in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Never Exposed booed when Woking FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dean Longstaffe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute Rick Ashton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jools Dothery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Woking FC's goal looked a bit too open when Camron Bow came free, but Marek Stansfield reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Never Exposed's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Woking FC the free kick. Andre Bevan hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Never Exposed's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
