The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Basil Major could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Marek Stansfield made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Zack Hales put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Marek Stansfield. The supporters of Paralympique London booed when Woking FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jo Grantham didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Zack Hales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mickey Groom kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. If Stan Shaw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Woking FC's zone, Vance Forbes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marek Stansfield came out of the goal and Vance Forbes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 2-0 became the score in the 17th minute when Stan Shaw elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Basil Major received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Marek Stansfield tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Woking FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stan Shaw came free, but Marek Stansfield reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matt Hume kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Zack Hales reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marek Stansfield. The goal made the score 3-0. Basil Major fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marek Stansfield having to interfere. Woking FC's Marek Stansfield played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stan Shaw in the 35th minute of play. When Vance Forbes came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Paralympique London fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vance Forbes couldn't finish the play. Marek Stansfield was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rio Blake. 47 minutes into the match, Vance Forbes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marek Stansfield. Woking FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vance Forbes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.
When Paralympique London's Stan Shaw in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Woking FC's goalie prevented a goal. Rick Ashton struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Jeff Groves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Woking FC. After a defensive mix-up in Paralympique London's zone, Rick Ashton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeff Groves came out of the goal and Rick Ashton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marek Stansfield made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vance Forbes in the 66th minute of play. Zack Hales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marek Stansfield showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zack Hales, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Vance Forbes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Basil Major made a precise shot to the right of Marek Stansfield. Woking FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Paralympique London's Vance Forbes got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Zack Hales got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marek Stansfield showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stan Shaw, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After having played for 86 minutes, Kieran Sharples managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paralympique London's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kieran Sharples was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Zack Hales sped through Woking FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marek Stansfield. In the 91st minute of the match Rio Blake shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marek Stansfield showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Stan Shaw fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marek Stansfield having to interfere. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind Woking FC's goalkeeper Marek Stansfield, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
