Spectators: 7530 (Terracing: 5649, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when David Reynolds got the match started through his kick off. If David Reynolds had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ollie Horsell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gav Blakewell having to interfere. A collision led to Halesowen FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Stephen Litchfield hit a great ball. Wes Wills sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Amberley mothballed! In the 27th minute there was a penalty for Halesowen FC. Stephen Litchfield stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Paddy Bull. 1-1. Paddy Bull showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wes Wills, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. If Jonny Byfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paddy Bull showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonny Byfield in the 35th minute of the match. David Reynolds recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 44 played minutes Halesowen FC got a freekick which was hit by Stephen Litchfield. Halesowen FC's Gav Blakewell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Reynolds in the 47th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wes Wills to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Amberley mothballed's goalkeeper Paddy Bull had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonny Byfield. After 56 minutes, Denzil Ottaway mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Amberley mothballed and the Halesowen FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th minute, Denzil Ottaway hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amberley mothballed's Ollie Horsell got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Amberley mothballed's zone, Jonny Byfield stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paddy Bull came out of the goal and Jonny Byfield tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Jonny Byfield managed to get in a good position for a shot. Halesowen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonny Byfield was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paddy Bull breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 76 minutes into the match, Halesowen FC's Wes Wills sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paddy Bull narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonny Byfield's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paddy Bull read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Jamal Waltham was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Halesowen FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Amberley mothballed the free kick. After 82 played minutes Halesowen FC got a freekick which was hit by Jamal Waltham. Gav Blakewell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ollie Horsell in the 83rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Amberley mothballed's Paddy Bull got control of the ball when Jonny Byfield tried to sneak it across the goal line.
