Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Nick Alcock started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the game, Sacha Le Saux cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Benjamin Munday was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ed Deeney shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 9 minutes into the match, Tyrone Simpson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Archie Joynes. Par City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tyrone Simpson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tyrone Simpson in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Archie Joynes saved Par City from getting behind. Lewis Bartram sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the match, Par City's goalkeeper Archie Joynes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tyrone Simpson. After 19 played minutes Ossett United got a freekick which was hit by Tyrone Simpson. Ossett United's Benjamin Munday played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sacha Le Saux in the 24th minute of play. When Ged Hallam fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Par City's protests and gave Ged Hallam a yellow card for diving instead. Ed Deeney took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Archie Joynes. Par City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Benjamin Munday showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sacha Le Saux in the 29th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Par City defense, Tyrone Simpson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Archie Joynes. The Par City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Archie Joynes should have stopped the shot. Ged Hallam took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benjamin Munday. Ossett United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Benjamin Munday took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nick Alcock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Ossett United getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Felix Bourton hit a great ball. After 46 played minutes, Par City's Ged Hallam shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benjamin Munday came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Par City reached it.

The wind increased when Tyrone Simpson made the kick off in the second half. Tyrone Simpson struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Archie Joynes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ossett United. 58 minutes into the match, Par City's goal looked a bit too open when Tyrone Simpson came free, but Archie Joynes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 61 minutes of play, Par City's Nick Alcock made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benjamin Munday was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 64 played minutes Par City got a freekick which was hit by Ged Hallam. Ged Hallam kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After 67 played minutes, Ossett United's Ed Deeney shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Archie Joynes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ossett United reached it. Par City's Sacha Le Saux got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nick Alcock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Benjamin Munday tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Par City's goal looked a bit too open when Tyrone Simpson came free, but Archie Joynes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sacha Le Saux received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benjamin Munday came out and tried to block the shot, but Sacha Le Saux slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 81st minute. Benjamin Munday made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nick Alcock in the 84th minute. In the 87th minute, Dale Blackley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute of the match Ed Deeney sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Archie Joynes skillfully saved the ball. In the 89th minute Tyrone Simpson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Archie Joynes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mick Ashton received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benjamin Munday came out and tried to block the shot, but Mick Ashton slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 92nd minute. Sacha Le Saux recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Par City were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Ossett United's much stronger midfield.
