Harvey Hewitt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ray Eglington, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 26 minutes, Lance Owen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Botley FC and the FC Liverpool players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philip Tomkin in the 58th minute of play forced Botley FC's goalkeeper Doug Houghton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Harvey Hewitt managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Botley FC's Wesley Coyle fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 65th minute, Philip Tomkin made a precise shot to the right of Doug Houghton. Botley FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Harvey Hewitt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shane Baum in the 69th minute of play. In the 70thth minute of the game Wesley Coyle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Liverpool's Harvey Hewitt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wesley Coyle in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Harvey Hewitt, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Wesley Coyle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Harvey Hewitt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
