Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Sittingbourne's zone, Wayne Crichton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vinnie Bell came out of the goal and Wayne Crichton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Francis Freeman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinnie Bell having to interfere. Vinnie Bell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francis Freeman in the 10th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Sittingbourne's goal looked a bit too open when Wayne Crichton came free, but Vinnie Bell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC Kelsier booed when Sittingbourne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norman Everard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vinnie Bell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wayne Crichton went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Wes Pallister managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sittingbourne's supporters rose to their feet, but Wes Pallister was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andre Jenkinson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wes Pallister's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Andre Jenkinson firmly grabbed it by the left post. Wayne Crichton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vinnie Bell having to make a save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wayne Crichton to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wes Pallister in the 54th minute of play forced FC Kelsier's goalkeeper Andre Jenkinson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Wes Pallister had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andre Jenkinson. FC Kelsier's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wes Pallister was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 65 minutes into the match, Gareth Ricketts notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of FC Kelsier's Andre Jenkinson. Andre Jenkinson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 75th minute, Ian Fordham got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gareth Ricketts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Bob Trusswell fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Kelsier's protests and gave Bob Trusswell a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th match minute, FC Kelsier was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bob Trusswell to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 80 minutes, Wes Pallister managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The audience was convinced that Wes Pallister's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andre Jenkinson was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Andre Jenkinson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gareth Ricketts in the 91st minute of play.
