An unexpectedly hard shot by Donny Pack in the 5th minute of play forced Sittingbourne's goalkeeper Vinnie Bell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vinnie Bell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donny Pack, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wes Pallister could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Ron Holdsworth made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gareth Ricketts in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ron Holdsworth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Norman Everard kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. If Donny Pack had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sittingbourne's Wes Pallister got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Huey Lowndes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinnie Bell having to interfere. Donny Pack fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinnie Bell having to interfere. Huey Lowndes struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Vinnie Bell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ickenham United. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donny Pack stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sittingbourne's Vinnie Bell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Sittingbourne from getting a goal against them. In the 58th minute, Huey Lowndes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Wes Pallister sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ron Holdsworth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wes Pallister, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Vinnie Bell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Huey Lowndes in the 85th minute. After having played for 86 minutes, Donny Pack managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ickenham United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donny Pack was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Donny Pack had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sittingbourne's Vinnie Bell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Sittingbourne from getting a goal against them. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
