Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wayne Crichton kicked off to start the match. With his leg Andre Jenkinson managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when Birmingham city's Austin Cooke fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, FC Kelsier's Wayne Crichton got a free kick in the 11th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Thomas Oatway kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Andre Jenkinson. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Devon Clapham in the 16th minute of play forced FC Kelsier's goalkeeper Andre Jenkinson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daryl Peakman during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th match minute, FC Kelsier was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daryl Peakman to maneuver through the defense. Wayne Crichton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Eddy Dalton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 30 played minutes FC Kelsier got a freekick which was hit by Daryl Peakman. After a rather tough play, Birmingham city's Thomas Oatway got a free kick in the 37th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Birmingham city's goal looked a bit too open when Francis Freeman came free, but Eddy Dalton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC Kelsier booed when Birmingham city was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Graeme Hughes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Owen Hibbert missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 42 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Eddy Dalton right hand side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Andre Jenkinson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Austin Cooke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Austin Cooke succeeded in the game's 56th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. 3-0 became the score in the 61st minute when Austin Cooke elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Devon Clapham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 72 played minutes FC Kelsier got a freekick which was hit by Daryl Peakman. Austin Cooke hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Kelsier's goalkeeper Andre Jenkinson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 75 minutes into the game, Marlon Crayon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Kelsier's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Birmingham city the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC Kelsier's Marlon Crayon got a free kick in the 75th minute. Devon Clapham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andre Jenkinson having to interfere. Devon Clapham scored 4-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andre Jenkinson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Austin Cooke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andre Jenkinson having to interfere. Conal Groom took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Andre Jenkinson. FC Kelsier's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Andre Jenkinson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Austin Cooke's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. When Birmingham city's Devon Clapham in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Kelsier's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Austin Cooke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Birmingham city's supporters rose to their feet, but Austin Cooke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andre Jenkinson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
