After 24 played minutes Liam Ridsdale rounded Player 2 FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. After having played for 27 minutes, Phillip Ellison managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Houghton Regis City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Phillip Ellison was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Liam Ridsdale dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sacha Allott, 3-0. Phillip Ellison could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Sacha Allott made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Phillip Ellison put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sacha Allott. Carl Christie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Player 2 FC's Sacha Allott tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 72ndth minute of the game Liam Ridsdale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Player 2 FC's Sacha Allott was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Liam Ridsdale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Sacha Allott tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Curtis Harkness fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The supporters of Houghton Regis City booed when Player 2 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Curtis Harkness didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Player 2 FC's zone, Liam Ridsdale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sacha Allott came out of the goal and Liam Ridsdale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91stth minute of the game Phillip Ellison who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Player 2 FC's Sacha Allott was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Houghton Regis City fully deserved thier win.
