Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Abraham Rhodes made the kick off which started today's match. The audience was convinced that Dominik Harrison's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sacha Allott was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. After having played for 11 minutes, John Hudson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Player 2 FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but John Hudson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dominik Harrison during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 15 played minutes Andover United got a freekick which was hit by Dominik Harrison. Deon Mullan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Rhodes in the 17th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dominik Harrison in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sacha Allott prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 27 minutes into the match, Andover United's Dominik Harrison sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sacha Allott narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Curtis Harkness had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dominik Harrison struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Sacha Allott didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Andover United. When Warren Ellerby fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. During the 77th minute of the match Warren Ellerby completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Warren Ellerby a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Warren Ellerby hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Player 2 FC's Bart Whitmore couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 78th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Andover United. In the 82nd minute Dominik Harrison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sacha Allott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. John Hudson charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The Sacha Allott was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Dominik Harrison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Sacha Allott tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Andover United's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Rhodes came free, but Deon Mullan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Piers Pearson charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Piers Pearson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Piers Pearson hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute of the match Bart Whitmore sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Deon Mullan skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the Andover United defense, John Hudson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Deon Mullan. The Andover United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Deon Mullan should have stopped the shot. The Player 2 FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
