Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ricky Sparkes took the kick off in the first half of the match. Fraser Laycock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 6 minutes into the match, Hadleigh FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fraser Laycock came free, but Wayne Hanley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute, Ricky Sparkes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hadleigh FC's Wayne Hanley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fraser Laycock in the 13th minute of play. Ricky Sparkes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vic Blackburn having to make a save. Lisy Pszczykowo's Vic Blackburn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Lisy Pszczykowo from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Lisy Pszczykowo's Danny Pickford got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute, Ricky Sparkes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vic Blackburn. The goal made the score 1-0. Hadleigh FC's Simon Cooke got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fraser Laycock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wayne Hanley having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Ricky Sparkes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vic Blackburn. That made the score 2-0 in the 34 minute of play. Simon Cooke in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vic Blackburn, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Fraser Laycock recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paul Snowdon made a kick off. Fraser Laycock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wayne Hanley having to interfere. A collision led to Hadleigh FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Phillip Waite hit a great ball. Wayne Hanley stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paul Snowdon's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Hadleigh FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Snowdon came free, but Wayne Hanley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rdth minute of the game Ricky Sparkes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lisy Pszczykowo's Vic Blackburn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricky Sparkes in the 70th minute of play forced Lisy Pszczykowo's goalkeeper Vic Blackburn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Lisy Pszczykowo booed when Hadleigh FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronny Panther didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lisy Pszczykowo were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Hadleigh FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Christian Delamore took the corner. Fraser Laycock's late challenge caught a Hadleigh FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fraser Laycock helped the player get up and apologised. Felix Boyes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vic Blackburn. Lisy Pszczykowo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 91st match minute, Lisy Pszczykowo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jermaine Rothery to maneuver through the defense. Ricky Sparkes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vic Blackburn having to interfere. When Ricky Sparkes came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Hadleigh FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricky Sparkes couldn't finish the play.
