After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Jeffrey Selby managed to get in a good position for a shot. Totley's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeffrey Selby was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clive Adamson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karl Ealham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clive Adamson having to interfere. Clive Adamson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeffrey Selby in the 48th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peter Masters to strike the kick off in the second half. Karl Ealham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Karl Ealham's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 71stth minute, Clive Adamson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Marc Drake didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ryan Childs went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. England had won after a very even match.
