Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Peter Masters started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute Peter Masters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kasey Nicholls saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 4 minutes, Walter Ring mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pondersbridge FC and the England players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pondersbridge FC's Walter Ring got a free kick in the 4th minute. Kasey Nicholls was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ryan Childs showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Ryan Childs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ryan Childs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Peter Masters's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kasey Nicholls was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Stephen Sheehan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kasey Nicholls made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Masters in the 34th minute of play. After 38th play minutes Peter Masters shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Kasey Nicholls and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of England booed when Pondersbridge FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hayden Mullan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Conal Gibbons stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Conal Gibbons managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pondersbridge FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conal Gibbons was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reg Crane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stephen Sheehan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kasey Nicholls having to interfere. The England fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when England's Peter Masters looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dominic Henman kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. England's Matty Emberson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 65th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pondersbridge FC. In the 67th minute, Lenny Endean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the match, England's Ryan Childs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kasey Nicholls narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kasey Nicholls showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryan Childs in the 76th minute of the match. Ryan Childs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kasey Nicholls having to make a save. Hayden Mullan hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute of the match Matty Emberson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kasey Nicholls showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 80th minute, Ryan Childs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Pondersbridge FC's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Masters came free, but Kasey Nicholls reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. John Paul Porter hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Lenny Endean's late challenge caught a Pondersbridge FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lenny Endean helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to England getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Lenny Endean hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the game, England's Peter Masters nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kasey Nicholls made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 91 minutes into the match, Pondersbridge FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ryan Childs came free, but Kasey Nicholls reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peter Masters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Kasey Nicholls tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that England were the better team. England's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
