Totley's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hadleigh FC the free kick. In the 70th minute, Sam Astridge got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74th minute, Simon Cooke left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hadleigh FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 79th minute, Simon Cooke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jeffrey Selby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Wayne Hanley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Karl Ealham managed to get in a good position for a shot. Totley's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl Ealham was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wayne Hanley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Ricky Sparkes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marc Drake. That made the score 0-2 in the 89 minute of play. Wayne Hanley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl Ealham, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The Totley supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hadleigh FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Hadleigh FC.
