Lisy Pszczykowo's Vic Blackburn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Ealham in the 6th minute of play. If Karl Ealham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 12 played minutes Totley got a freekick which was hit by Felix Vine. Paul Snowdon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Marc Drake tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vic Blackburn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeffrey Selby in the 18th minute of the match. Totley were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Lisy Pszczykowo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rich Croxford took the corner. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Karl Ealham put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Vic Blackburn. In the 34th minute Keiran Cheesman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vic Blackburn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Totley's Karl Ealham sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vic Blackburn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Lisy Pszczykowo defense, Ash Bright kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vic Blackburn. The Lisy Pszczykowo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vic Blackburn should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Lisy Pszczykowo's zone, Karl Ealham stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vic Blackburn came out of the goal and Karl Ealham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paul Snowdon was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Totley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trev Pearce to maneuver through the defense. Paul Snowdon took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marc Drake. Marc Drake dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 60th minute, Karl Ealham got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Ash Bright managed to get in a good position for a shot. Totley's supporters rose to their feet, but Ash Bright was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vic Blackburn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Lisy Pszczykowo booed when Totley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deon Cotton didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Ash Bright was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Totley's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lisy Pszczykowo the free kick. Lisy Pszczykowo's Christian Delamore couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 66th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Totley. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lisy Pszczykowo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rich Croxford was slow to take the kick. During this time Totley's players had a chance to rest. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Karl Ealham took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Vic Blackburn to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 83 minutes, Keiran Cheesman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Totley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Keiran Cheesman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th match minute, Lisy Pszczykowo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ted Bramhall to maneuver through the defense. Karl Ealham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
