The Frimley fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andrew Holloway should have stopped the shot. The Frimley players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Transnistria FA were winning 1-2.

Transnistria FA's Stan Jenkinson got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lewis Rotherfield received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Andrew Holloway tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 68 minutes, Chris Staple mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Frimley and the Transnistria FA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Andrew Holloway made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stan Jenkinson in the 71st minute of play. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
