An unexpectedly hard shot by Connor Waddington in the 3rd minute of play forced Beijing guan f.C's goalkeeper Barry Woodier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barry Woodier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Morris in the 4th minute of play. Lee Pennant got a throw-in 7 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Danny Banks. Barry Woodier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Connor Waddington in the 8th minute of play. Brendon Alderson scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Barry Woodier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 14 minutes into the match, Adam Morris had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Barry Woodier. Beijing guan f.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adam Morris was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Barry Woodier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eddy Foster went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Brendon Alderson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Frinton's supporters rose to their feet, but Brendon Alderson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barry Woodier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 25 minutes into the match, Shawn Clifford had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Barry Woodier. Beijing guan f.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Shawn Clifford was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Barry Woodier came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Frinton's Shawn Clifford. But to his dismay, Shawn Clifford quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Barry Woodier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eddy Foster, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Gareth Delamore took a quick shot and it went in 2-5 without a chance for Sam Kennedy to make any attempt to save it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-5.

Gareth Delamore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Barry Woodier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shawn Clifford in the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Connor Waddington ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Barry Woodier was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-6. Barry Woodier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Billy Haylock in the 60th minute of play. After some careless play in the Beijing guan f.C defense, Adam Morris kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Barry Woodier. The Beijing guan f.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Barry Woodier should have stopped the shot. Beijing guan f.C's Barry Woodier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Beijing guan f.C from getting a goal against them. Barry Woodier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adam Morris went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-8 was the resulting score. Gareth Delamore kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Beijing guan f.C's Barry Woodier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brendon Alderson in the 72nd minute of play. Barry Woodier was a little too slow when Adam Morris got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 2-9. Adam Morris received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Barry Woodier came out and tried to block the shot, but Adam Morris slotted it home off the left post making it 2-10 in the 81st minute. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Connor Waddington took a quick shot and it went in 2-11 without a chance for Barry Woodier to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Connor Waddington got free with Barry Woodier in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Barry Woodier made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Connor Waddington sent off a good shot on target. Brendon Alderson succeeded in the game's 93rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-12.
