Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Shadow Blasters's Jake Breckin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jake Breckin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Damian Godsall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damian Godsall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Den Horseman having to interfere. Dunston's Damian Godsall got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Andrew Nottingham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The attack was good, but when Damian Godsall in the 16th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 17 minutes, Orson Vassell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shadow Blasters and the Dunston players grew even worse after the yellow card. Orson Vassell kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After having played for 22 minutes, Quentin Crtichell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dunston's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quentin Crtichell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jake Breckin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Dave Tompkins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quentin Crtichell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Den Horseman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. If Damian Godsall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Jake Breckin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shadow Blasters's supporters rose to their feet, but Jake Breckin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dave Tompkins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Den Horseman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andy Hughes-Guy in the 39th minute of play. After having played for 44 minutes, Quentin Crtichell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dunston's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quentin Crtichell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute of the match Sonny Parrott shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Den Horseman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

The wind increased when Damian Godsall made the kick off in the second half. Damian Godsall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Dunston's Damian Godsall in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Shadow Blasters's goalie prevented a goal. Den Horseman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andy Hughes-Guy in the 57th minute of play. Quentin Crtichell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Den Horseman having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Glenn Kitchen got free with Dave Tompkins in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jake Breckin in the 64th minute of play forced Dunston's goalkeeper Dave Tompkins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrew Nottingham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Den Horseman having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Damian Godsall had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Den Horseman. Shadow Blasters's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damian Godsall was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 82 minutes into the match, Shadow Blasters's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Godsall came free, but Den Horseman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damian Godsall in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Den Horseman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Den Horseman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Godsall in the 85th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Dunston's Russ Hoskins got a free kick in the 89th minute. If Quentin Crtichell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Quentin Crtichell sped through Shadow Blasters's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Den Horseman.
