Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mick Garnett started the match with the kick off. Shawn Clifford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacob Gibson having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Danny Banks during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Paddy Furlong kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Connor Waddington sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacob Gibson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Connor Waddington in the 27th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Saint Denis FC's Tris Featherson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sam Kennedy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Frinton's Connor Waddington in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After having played for 38 minutes, Tris Featherson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saint Denis FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tris Featherson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Frinton's Danny Banks got a free kick in the 39th minute. If Sly Naylor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 45th minute Brendon Alderson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacob Gibson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Connor Waddington took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacob Gibson. Jacob Gibson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Connor Waddington was the one to do the kick off. Saint Denis FC's Sly Naylor got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Paddy Furlong ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sam Kennedy was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shawn Clifford in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacob Gibson saved Saint Denis FC from getting behind. Shaun Croyden's late challenge caught a Saint Denis FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Shaun Croyden helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Saint Denis FC booed when Frinton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shaun Croyden didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Saint Denis FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Paddy Furlong hit a great ball. Sam Kennedy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paddy Furlong, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Shawn Clifford in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacob Gibson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jacob Gibson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Morris in the 71st minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Frinton's Connor Waddington nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacob Gibson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Connor Waddington got free with Jacob Gibson in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 77 played minutes Frinton got a freekick which was hit by Adam Morris. In the 81st minute, Connor Waddington made a precise shot to the right of Jacob Gibson. Saint Denis FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shawn Clifford in the 87th minute of play forced Saint Denis FC's goalkeeper Jacob Gibson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paddy Furlong scored 2-3 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sam Kennedy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rd match minute, Saint Denis FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paddy Furlong to maneuver through the defense.
