Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) James Sugden made the kick off and thus started the match. Matthew Buckley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from James Sugden in the 4th minute of play. After 5 played minutes Phoenix FC got a freekick which was hit by Jamal Crouch. Tris Hamilton's late challenge caught a Phoenix FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tris Hamilton helped the player get up and apologised. After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for North Kilworth! The goalkeeper, Rio Floyd, was totally fooled by Phoenix FC's Laurence Gates, who 11 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. James Sugden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Matthew Buckley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matthew Buckley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shane Calder in the 16th minute of the match. After 22 minutes, Eddie McAleer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Phoenix FC and the North Kilworth players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 22 played minutes Phoenix FC got a freekick which was hit by Eddie McAleer. When North Kilworth's James Sugden in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Phoenix FC's goalie prevented a goal. Keiran Ashton did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Rio Floyd 25 minutes into the match. Keiran Ashton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jamal Crouch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rio Floyd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Keiran Ashton in the 40th minute of play. When James Sugden came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the North Kilworth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that James Sugden couldn't finish the play. Keiran Ashton struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Rio Floyd didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Phoenix FC. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Keiran Ashton was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes, Phoenix FC's Syd Hehir shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rio Floyd came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Phoenix FC reached it. James Sugden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthew Buckley having to interfere. When Phoenix FC's Jamal Crouch in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye North Kilworth's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Jamal Crouch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Phoenix FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jamal Crouch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rio Floyd breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Keiran Ashton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Rio Floyd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Keiran Ashton made a precise shot to the right of Rio Floyd. North Kilworth's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 74th minute Keiran Ashton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rio Floyd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Jamal Crouch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jamal Crouch in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rio Floyd prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 79 minutes into the game, Alf Piercy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Phoenix FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave North Kilworth the free kick. Alf Piercy kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, James Sugden dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Matthew Buckley, 3-1. 87 minutes into the match, Phoenix FC's goal looked a bit too open when James Sugden came free, but Matthew Buckley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Shane Calder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute Keiran Ashton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rio Floyd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Phoenix FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
