In the 4th minute, Shane Calder left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The North Kilworth fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Dean Elvins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Rio Floyd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Shane Calder made a precise shot to the right of Lance Rayner. Conway Gardens's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Kurt Symons fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rio Floyd having to interfere. After a rather tough play, North Kilworth's Pierce Westwood got a free kick in the 18th minute. Shane Calder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Lance Rayner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tris Hamilton took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lance Rayner. Conway Gardens's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rio Floyd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Symons, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute of the match Conway Gardens got a corner. North Kilworth's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jerry Bridge ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Conway Gardens's corner Jerry Bridge fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rio Floyd quite easily take care of the ball. Kurt Symons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pierce Westwood hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Dean Elvins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39thth minute of the game Kurt Symons who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but North Kilworth's Rio Floyd was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rio Floyd didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dean Elvins went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Rio Floyd was a little too slow when Kurt Symons got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 2-2. Dean Elvins might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rio Floyd. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dean Elvins ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Conway Gardens's Kurt Symons slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rio Floyd. That made the score 2-3 after 58 minutes of play. After having played for 67 minutes, Kurt Symons managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Conway Gardens's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kurt Symons was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to North Kilworth getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Vince Delaney hit a great ball. Rio Floyd made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dean Elvins in the 77th minute. Kurt Symons fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rio Floyd having to interfere. Rio Floyd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Symons, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dean Elvins in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rio Floyd, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. James Sugden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Lance Rayner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dean Elvins might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rio Floyd. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dean Elvins ran back to his position shaking his head. When Pierce Westwood fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored North Kilworth's protests and gave Pierce Westwood a yellow card for diving instead. Pierce Westwood kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The long shot by Jerry Bridge in the 93rd minute really tested Rio Floyd's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.
