With a couple of smart ball manuevers James Sugden in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ian Marsden saved Bedford City from getting behind. Rio Floyd stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Warren Tate's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute of the match, James Sugden tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ian Marsden saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 20th match minute, Bedford City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harvey Lennon to maneuver through the defense. Denzil Linford scored 0-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rio Floyd, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ian Marsden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from James Sugden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Denzil Linford made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Bedford City's Denzil Linford slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rio Floyd. That made the score 0-4 after 80 minutes of play. Rio Floyd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denzil Linford, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 88 minutes into the match, North Kilworth's goal looked a bit too open when Denzil Linford came free, but Rio Floyd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Warren Tate who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Rio Floyd when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Warren Tate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rio Floyd having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, North Kilworth's goal looked a bit too open when Denzil Linford came free, but Rio Floyd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Bedford City could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than North Kilworth throughout the match.
