Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Brynn Marsden started the match with the kick off. Cliff Coates's late challenge caught a Bolton City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cliff Coates helped the player get up and apologised. Cliff Coates hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 6thth minute of the game Brynn Marsden who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bolton City's Vern Downs was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vince Wallbank kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Bolton City defense, Colin Mann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vern Downs. The Bolton City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vern Downs should have stopped the shot. In the 15th match minute, Kikhavn FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brynn Marsden to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Cody Courtney managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bolton City's supporters rose to their feet, but Cody Courtney was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Max Eyre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25th minute of the match Robin Small sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vern Downs skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Brynn Marsden's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vern Downs was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. In the 28th minute, Felix Platt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Max Eyre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cody Courtney in the 31st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Colin Mann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kikhavn FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Colin Mann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vern Downs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vern Downs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brynn Marsden, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. When Charles Renwick fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bolton City's protests and gave Charles Renwick a yellow card for diving instead. Charles Renwick kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Ashley Platt's late challenge caught a Bolton City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ashley Platt helped the player get up and apologised. After 43 played minutes Kikhavn FC got a freekick which was hit by Ashley Platt. In the 47th minute, Cody Courtney ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Max Eyre was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ashley Howlett stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Colin Mann took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vern Downs. Vern Downs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After a rather tough play, Kikhavn FC's Robin Small got a free kick in the 64th minute. 67 minutes into the game, Bolton City's Cody Courtney nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Max Eyre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Brynn Marsden blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vern Downs having to make a save. Cody Courtney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Eyre having to interfere. If Ashley Howlett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Kikhavn FC's zone, Cody Courtney stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Max Eyre came out of the goal and Cody Courtney tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kikhavn FC's Max Eyre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ashley Howlett in the 87th minute of play. If Ashley Howlett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benji Deveraux kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Rufus Colman was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 91st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
