Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Callum Ring started the match with the kick off. Kieran Hurst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthew Davies having to interfere. Matthew Davies stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kieran Hurst's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcus Hunter got free with Rick Featherson in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 8 minutes, Callum Ring managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Storm FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Callum Ring was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Storm FC's Rick Featherson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Storm FC from getting a goal against them. Frank Dennison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rick Featherson having to interfere. After 19 minutes, Seb Inman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tingley and the Storm FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Seb Inman hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. If Callum Ring had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matthew Davies made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kieran Hurst in the 27th minute of play. Rick Featherson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Dennison in the 30th minute of play. Frank Dennison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Rick Featherson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rick Featherson made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Frank Dennison sent off a good shot on target. Grant Carr hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Alastair Bodsworth was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 44th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Frank Dennison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Rick Featherson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Dennison made a kick off. Rob Tisdale's shot from long distance in the 51st minute was not bad at all, but Tingley's Matthew Davies knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Marcus Hunter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rick Featherson having to interfere. Will Pearson kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. 95 minutes into the game, Ashley Partridge was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Storm FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tingley the free kick. Rick Featherson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Hunter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Storm FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
