Spectators: 5150 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Frank Dennison made the kick off which started today's match. The attack was good, but when Patrick Goldthorpe in the 3rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Marcus Hunter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Odell having to interfere. Patrick Goldthorpe struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Matthew Davies didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wem AFC. In the 9th minute Harry Chadwick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthew Davies saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13thth minute of the game Harry Chadwick who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tingley's Matthew Davies was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Frank Dennison might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Simon Odell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Dennison ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcus Hunter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Odell having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennie Read in the 22nd minute of play forced Wem AFC's goalkeeper Simon Odell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marcus Hunter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcus Hunter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcus Hunter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Simon Odell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simon Odell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Hunter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcus Hunter might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Simon Odell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcus Hunter ran back to his position shaking his head. Simon Odell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ash Bailey in the 39th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Tingley's Ash Bailey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Simon Odell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The Wem AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tingley were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Harry Chadwick made the kick off in the second half. Marcus Hunter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Simon Odell made a huge save. Patrick Clarkson hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Wem AFC's Simon Odell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Dennison in the 58th minute of play. Marcus Hunter scored 0-2 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Simon Odell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Harry Chadwick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthew Davies having to interfere. Simon Odell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Dennison, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. If Marcus Hunter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Tingley booed when Wem AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dion Coburn didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Seb Inman from long distance, 76 minutes into the match, got Simon Odell's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A collision led to Wem AFC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Zane Tomkin hit a great ball. After 79 played minutes Wem AFC got a freekick which was hit by Harry Chadwick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Dennison in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simon Odell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Tingley's Frank Dennison slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Simon Odell. That made the score 0-3 after 81 minutes of play. 96 minutes into the match, Tingley's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Chadwick came free, but Matthew Davies reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Tingley left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Wem AFC.
