Ronnie Phippard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Erith booed when Sutton on Sea City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastien Westerby didn't get a good kick on the ball. Danny Sugden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Anthony Selby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anthony Selby stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronnie Phippard's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. The audience was convinced that Allan Barton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Niall Taggart was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Niall Taggart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Barton in the 34th minute of the match. Anthony Selby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronnie Phippard, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Joshua Hammond hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the match, Erith's goal looked a bit too open when Danny Sugden came free, but Anthony Selby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
