Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Glyn Harrison started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Christopher Branston hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Syd Rotherfield received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Oliver Marler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes into the game, Christopher Branston was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. WE UNITED's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PugPugPug CF the free kick. After 8 played minutes WE UNITED got a freekick which was hit by Christopher Branston. 9 minutes into the match, Dean Coburn had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oliver Marler. WE UNITED's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dean Coburn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Glyn Harrison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Eddy Newton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dean Coburn was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 23rd minute. PugPugPug CF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. WE UNITED's Oliver Marler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dean Coburn in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Kyle Walsh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oliver Marler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Anson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to PugPugPug CF getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Dean Coburn hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Paget in the 33rd minute of play forced PugPugPug CF's goalkeeper Eddy Newton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Paget sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Glyn Harrison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Eddy Newton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eddy Newton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Paget in the 45th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

57 minutes into the match, PugPugPug CF's goal looked a bit too open when Glyn Harrison came free, but Eddy Newton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Paget sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dean Coburn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, WE UNITED's Glyn Harrison dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Victor Paget managed to get in a good position for a shot. WE UNITED's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Paget was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eddy Newton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eddy Newton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glyn Harrison in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Glyn Harrison recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eddy Newton. Glyn Harrison showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. If Dean Coburn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of PugPugPug CF booed when WE UNITED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. The referee ignored PugPugPug CF's protests and gave Norman Henry a yellow card for diving instead. Norman Henry hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Glyn Harrison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddy Newton having to interfere. If Benjamin Anson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. WE UNITED were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over PugPugPug CF's much stronger midfield.
