With a little luck, Whitchurch's Martyn Shilton got control of the ball when Huey Sawyer tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Marty Palmer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Martyn Shilton. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. Huey Sawyer was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 42nd minute. Pizzle Youth Team's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Martyn Shilton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marty Palmer in the 48th minute of play.

In the 66th minute Nathan Winter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dom Dawes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bradley Haskell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dom Dawes having to interfere. With a little luck, Pizzle Youth Team's Dom Dawes got control of the ball when Bradley Haskell tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nathan Winter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Bradley Haskell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marty Palmer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Martyn Shilton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nathan Winter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hayden Stewart hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Pizzle Youth Team's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
