After 37 minutes of play, Foxton FC's Nicky Castleton made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andre Byrne was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 41st minute, Nicky Castleton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42nd minute Ian Gascoigne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joshua Simpson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Liverpool FC booed when Foxton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Jewson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicky Castleton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andre Byrne having to interfere.
